The Origin of the Experience

My defining moment as a creative did not happen in a boardroom. It happened at the Lincoln Park Zoo.

As a young intern, I watched the installation of the Farm-in-the-Zoo exhibit. I saw families from the heart of the city touching, playing, and interacting with a side of farm life they rarely get to experience. They were not just passive visitors looking at displays. They were learning by doing. I saw firsthand how physical design and interactives could take an unfamiliar topic and make it accessible, memorable, and deeply engaging.

That was the moment everything clicked. I realized that whether an organization is trying to educate the public or build a corporate identity, the most powerful stories are never just heard. They are experienced.

For the last 15 years, I have built my career on that exact premise.

Leading from First Principles

My expertise lies in leading multidisciplinary studio teams to take complex corporate strategies and turn them into physical and digital experiences that audiences actually want to engage with.

Executing this at a high-level requires guiding designers, animators, and developers through incredibly complex challenges. When a creative team gets stuck in the weeds and frustration sets in, my leadership style is simple. We go back to first principles. I pull the team back to evaluate the big picture and ensure we are actually headed down the right path, rather than just digging deeper into the wrong one.

By anchoring our work to the core mission, I can make the executive decisions needed to either push a design philosophy forward or pivot our approach to get the team unstuck and moving together.

Technology and the Human Touch

A successful modern studio requires both clear leadership and the right tools. I am highly adept at integrating localized AI pipelines and internet-connected workflows into the creative process. Designing these scalable systems allows a studio to handle the heavy lifting, optimize operational costs, and accelerate campaign deployment.

But the goal of this technology is never to replace the creative spirit. It is to give creative teams the freedom to focus on what matters most: the human connection.

A Strategic Partner

Ultimately, I am a creative leader who knows the craft inside and out. I partner with executive clients to solve real business problems without the ego. I believe that doing great work should also mean being great to work with.

If your organization needs a leader who can bridge the gap between high-level business strategy and unforgettable brand storytelling, I am ready to be an asset to your team.
